UI/UX Bloom App

Bloom is a safe and uplifting digital community built specifically for teenage girls navigating the journey of growing up. It is centered around making teenage girls feel safe and welcomed from the moment they open the app. This app brings girls together in a space where they can ask questions they are too nervous to ask out loud and get support from peers who actually understand what they are going through. Beyond the community side, Bloom also gives girls a way to look inward through personal emotion tracking and journaling tools that help them understand their moods, process their thoughts, and witness their own growth over time.

Since the app involves interaction between minors through messaging, safety features are built into the experience to ensure the community remains protected and moderated. This occurs through extensive verification features during the sign-up process. Messages sent in the chat are anonymous to maintain the privacy of name and age, and are also heavily monitored and filtered to keep everybody safe.

Textured gradients were used to create a soft and inviting feel that was both age-appropriate and inviting. The color palette is light and soft to reinforce the uplifting and safe nature of the community.
